Taiwan is a part of China because China has 2 parts due to civil war, Taiwan of China and mainland of China. Currently both 2 parts have their own administrations but UN and almost all countries admit mainland China as the country China. Sooner or later both parts will be united because separation caused by civil war should not last long. God bless their early unity.

Taiwan should have handed her over to China to answer for her reckless statements. She has started an international incident and she needs to be held accountable. The American people will have to deal with the fallout she created. America has become lax, China does most of our core manufacturing and less than 2% of our active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and key materials globally are sourced from China. Why was it so important for her to go there right now? Countries need to settle their differences themselves, we get involved in things we have no business being involved in. Why is she making statements about someone else's sovereignty? Focus on American men and women who are hungry, suffering from rising prices, homeless and overall needs of the people instead of getting involved in an international incident that the next governing body will inherit and have to deal with. Why is she still in office? Before someone starts screaming about Republican this or that I am a Democrat who is totally disgusted and getting ready to straddle the fence and become an Independent.
