EDEM Simulation of Tablet Coating & Mixing
Показать описание
The Discrete Element Method (DEM) is a modelling technique for simulating the behavior of granular materials such as powders, tablets and capsules. DEM is a powerful tool used to model common pharmaceutical manufacturing processes such as mixing, blending, granulation and tablet coating. This technology provides key insights that can lead to optimized processes and innovation in product design. This video shows how EDEM software can be used to simulate the tablet coating process and investigate the effects of parameters like tablet shape or coating pan speed on the coating uniformity.
