For me, I enjoy this type of video the most I think. When you just cruise around and show off the beautiful English countryside (I'm American). I also really enjoy the Biker Scran videos. And for what it's worth, I enjoy your calm, mature, dare I say professional approach to your dialogue. In other words no shouting, obnoxious "shock factor" nonsense

I find your videos a very relaxing, entertaining, informative way to start my week as I head off to work. Safe travels.

The Goldwing is a fantastic piece of motorcycle engineering, and it's appropriate that you highlight it this year, as it's now the 50th anniversary of its introduction in 1974. I rode one of the old 1500cc models back in the 90's and it was a great experience. I imagine the latest models are even better. I don't really do long distance touring, but I'd still love a bagger model if I could afford one.

Andy: Your European tour on the Goldwing sounds great….if I had my time again I’d get one but as I’m 81 I’ll stick with my VFR! Someone in the comments suggested that maybe DCT turned people off; I wonder if they’ve ever ridden one.
A couple of years ago I bought my first automatic car (a Volvo XC40) after 60 years of manual’s….wish I’d had one much sooner, so relaxing to drive especially in a busy city where you can focus on avoiding cyclists, electric scooters and pedestrians (I live in Cambridge!). I’m assuming a DCT bike is a more relaxing experience, not only in cities but when long distance touring too.
Really enjoyed this video, so relaxing with the smooth engine note too. More Goldwing posts please.

I have the exact same model/color. Earler this year, with the wife on the back, we did the Sydney to Tasmania return trip and the Goldwing ate up the 5000ks there and back with absolute ease. For those that dont know Tasmania there is barely a straight road to be seen and has, by far, the best riding roads in Australia. Our lap of the island took in as many winding roads as I could fit in and the bike took everthing I could throw at it without an issue. It handles the twistys incredibly well considering its size, great fun. Look forward to hearing about your exploits on yours.

Great to see the "Wing" back on the channel, always good to see you out and about on it. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming European Tour vids with Mrs Flyer and the Wing .

Hi Andy, my wife and I have ridden the Grossglockner two up, twice on our old Pan European ST 1100 without any issues. Admittedly not as heavy as your Wing but still a big bike. Would be a pity not to do it as it’s truly spectacular. TOP TIP. Zel am See is the nearest town, stay there, get up early and get it done before the crowds arrive!! Keep up the good work my friend. 😊

Thanks to you I bought a 2019 manual Goldwing, what a fantastic machine, only regret I wished I’d saved up and bought a later model with the bigger top box.

Andy, thank you for reminding me to get out and enjoy my ‘23 GW Tour DCT! I love it for all the same reasons you do. This September I’ll be riding it from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier—the starting point and finishing destination of the old Route 66. Along with 15 riding buddies, we’ll be covering as much of the original route as possible. It’s a bucket list ride for me! Thanks, again, for the great GW content!

I’m happy to watch whatever you produce. It’s always well put together, entertaining and informative. It might not be a bike I’m particularly interested in, it’ll be filmed somewhere nice. Looking forward to the Euro tour! Keep up the great work 👍🏽🏍️🇯🇪

Don’t let the Stelvio frighten you. I did it in my top heavy triumph tiger 1050 fully loaded with the wife on the back. Was great. I concentrated on the road ahead and she checked up around the corners and let me know what was coming. Worked a treat. Don’t miss out you’ll love it.

Just out of interest my mate dropped his Goldwing but despite its weight he was able to lift it upright by himself even though he is a bit weedy. When I asked him how he managed it he pointed out how low the engine was which actually made lifting it up quite easy.
Anyway lovely bike and look forward to your tour videos.

Thank you Mr. Flyer. I'm happy to see the "Wing" up and about and glad you use all your bikes as often as you can. I'm now even more determined to get my old Suzuki Sv650s back on the road even if I decide to sell it shortly after.
I'm really looking forwards to seeing you and Mrs. Flyer on tour. Have a coffee on me opd boy. :>)

Good to see the wing out again
Most people don’t get the goldwing but I bought one last year (2019 bagger) and I love it
The wife loves it and we don’t even use it for touring but it’s such a good bike it’s a pleasure to ride and that’s coming from a sports sports tourer bike background

I'm not a lover of that style of bike, but I can certainly appreciate the comfort it must give on long days in the saddle.

Dolomites are brilliant for riding, especially if you like twisty roads. Absolutely stunning scenery too, and of course good food options
