Using Mac for Restream, connect with USB C back of ATEM blackmagicpro. Using same monitor you had to display all the plugins at same time. How do we connect a Projector to a screen {noTV} up front {needs the INPUT} on ATEM?? 2nd PC is Windows using as PREVIEW shot. Where should we plugin all to back ATEM? Help?

We are a very small church and was given atem mini to use for live streaming.

We have 2 laptops and currently connect Ethernet cable to get internet.
Using obs studio.
Currently using camlink video capture to live stream
But would like to use Atem as the video capture. Is it possible?

How do you suggest we setup properly to make it work? And are the 2 laptops suggested.

Camera we are using by the way is Canon Vixia IF R800.

Ajay I am at the church I go to, and we have the ATEM MINI PRO. I am trying to set it up now, but having trouble. Can I connect from my video monitor via VGA on one end and the other end HDMI into the Atem?

Hello, please I have the ATEM Mini Pro and I have downloaded the Software Control.... How do I connect.

1. The other end of the Ethernet cable from the Mini Pro should be connected to my laptop or Internet service.

2. The USB type C should connect to my Laptop or where?

3. What about the HDMI output cord

Thx for this cool video. I have a question about the blackmagic I will use a old Monitor for the multiview. This Monitor has only a DVI Plug. I have a Adabter from HDMI to DVI-D (Dual-Link). The problem is: The monitor has no Signal.

I am trying to connect a second camera - Nikon 3200D but the only think I see is two options on the board: camera 2 . PLAY OR SLIDE SHOW.... That means that it wants to read what is in the camera, instead of using the camera as a camera. How can I solve that? Donato

We will be using one Sony DV camcorder to start with. The Sony is connected to the Mini Pro via S-video to a Kanex analog to HDMI capture device.

Thank you for this video. We have a question: is there a device that can convert the usp c (webcam) output in the pro mini into hdmi output? We are using the hdmi output for multi view, the Ethernet for steaming, but we need a third hdmi output to broadcast to external monitor in another room in our church. The way we have done it is to have our multiview from splitting each camera input before connecting them to the switcher. But wasn’t the best. So we are hoping to have a device that can convert the usp c output into hdmi. Thanks

Should I get an atem mini pro and use the built in encoder to stream or should I get a normal atem mini and stream from a computer?

AJay, I have followed this video. I have been using Atem Mini and have had no problem using it with OBS, it recognised the Atem mine in sources and has worked fine. I got the Atem mini and I have not be able to get OBS to recognised the Blackmagic Device in sources. I have use just the USB cable, just the Ethernet cable and the two together and can not get it to recognize the mini pro for a camera source. I'm using Video Capture Device to find the mini pro, but only the Facetime camera on my IMac shows. It has me baffled. It works fine with the mini but not the mini pro. I can get a feed from HDMI out from the mini pro to an external monitor. Any suggestions on how to fix this.

How do I connect a 18 channel live mixer to this? I normally use OBS and connect computer to ethernet switcher and do the same with the mixer.. Can I set this up the same way?

Been using the ATEM Mini Pro and ran into an issue. I was streaming with a Netgear M1 hotspot, and the first time the ATEM got on the network fine. Not sure how, because it didn't ask for password it just showed up. Connected laptop through wifi on same network.
Next day I tried to get back on the hotspot and ATEM won't connect. Any thoughts as to why?

THANKS!! Maybe you can help. I would like to do the following - all at the same time. How can we do it on the Mini Pro? 1) Have 3 camera + 1 computer inputs via HDMI (OK - This part is easy) / 2) Have the mix go to a Zoom call (on a 2nd computer) / 3) Have the mix also show locally on a Large Screen or Projector via HDMI / 4) Use the Multi-View to be able to preview and cue the various HDMI inputs ??? Also - is there some sort of USB-C breakout that will enable the Mini Pro to feed Zoom (in another computer) and record that feed (actually the video mix) at the same time?

I understand you can either use USB recording OR as a PC webcam.
