There’s some criticism in the comments here, but tbh Jade P is a monster guitar player. Extremely talented and unique within his own playing and music. Not everyone dedicates the same time to learning other peoples’ tunes note for note - Mark K very much included! Mark K a true original that found his own sound and in his own admission didn’t spend hours learning note for note what other players before him did. I love that Jade P loves this song. It’s brilliant, and JP has produced many great guitar moments himself.

Contrary to the comments above; this was played extremely well. He played it uniquely his own and his own style. Mark Knopfler is widely known as one of the greats of improv guitar style. Not ironic at all to have it played in improv 😁😝😁

Wow. “My own spin” generally means he can’t play it and sure enough - he didn’t. Sloppy execution, too much reverb, bends not getting to pitch, wrong notes, etc. Such a clumsy, awkward attempt, and to publish this does Mark Knopfler a real disservice.
