Alpine Reveals New Car And Two Liveries For F1 2023

Alpine was the final F1 team to launch its 2023 car ahead of the new season. As well as pulling the covers of the A523, the team also unveiled two liveries for F1 2023. In this video, I give my thoughts on the new car, the launch and the new liveries.

I know people like the blue, but I personally prefer the all pink livery

Why do they have so much exposed carbon if they are underweight? I was under the impression it was to save weight is there another reason all the teams have exposed carbon?

The fia/F1 now needs to have a rule or something that there has to be a minimum of 2.5kg of paint to their cars or else every car on 2026 will be on carbon fiber lmao

If only teams weren’t so close to the minimum weight because if Alpine actually painted the whole car blue it’d look so good

I don't know why, you know, the Alpine gives me more of a Blackpool Tower vibe than the Eiffel Tower. I mean It's I'm more interested in what happens off the gird then on the gird with them.

They really need to introduce a discrete minimum body paint weight. A smaller team could easily justify running a bare carbon car with white sponsor stickers at this point

Car launch season went very quick this year. The Pepto Bismol car is just okay. For me, the best
looking cars this season are Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo with Ferrari very close, the black box
on the side pods lost style points. Most disappointing, was AlphaTauri by a mile.

Imagine being a livery designer. You're given the coolest shapes to work with and all you have to do is put nice colors on them. And then you come up with the horrendous dogwater liveries of Alpine, Haas, and Williams. Kindergarteners could do better.
