Quick advice - your pants must always be a darker color than your shirt. Also - grey sweatpants and white t-shirt are literal meme and archetype women love. And ofc - easiest way to look good in clothes - getting in shape. If you are newbie it takes 8/12 weeks to see substantial difference and it will benefit you in 100 different way.

Looks helps you to capture attention and it is an indication that you take care about yourself, but in the complex it is not very helpful in game. You can wear an old fashioned $5 shirt and completely destroy a guy who wears a $1500 brand new suit if you have a much stronger frame than him, to me you should spend a decent amount of effort to find clothes that fit you well just to take care of yourself, and spend all of your efforts to improve your frame
