Edit: I’m no scholar and I know hudud can be exempt in certain cases/context so before i/we defame him this is my bad and we should allow scholars to do this. Sheikh shadee didn’t mention anything about hudud but he did mention other issues.

Dr Shabir Ali is a beautiful brother, who has dedicated his life to calling people to Islam. He is well respected and we believe him to be sincere. Regarding any misconceptions he has may Allah forgive him. I dont know where you are getting these references from to be honest my brother, I watched the video regarding hijab, those are not his words, I believe he says he doesn't see the evidence for it.

You are someone I respect and have benefited from Dr Shade, may Allah reward you, in my opinion this sort of rhetoric causes more harm than good. Why dont you interview him? pick his brain? advise him?

I have heard him say Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus are Muslim. He doesn't say people who follow the Trinity are paradise bound.

As a Christain, Shabir Ally is the one of the Muslims that I respect the most. I’ve found him to be honest, fair and respectful in his debates unlike many other Muslims. He was the reason I read the Quran, sunnah and many Hadiths. But just like many of you, my faith is deeply engrained in me and I find it to be the truth. But Mr Ally carried himself in such a way that it actually influenced to learn more about Islam. I really don’t understand the hate for this man

Stop takfiring people who pave the way of islam in the west.
He did a good job educating muslims such that they can live their faith in the west.
Due to his work many muslim daa'i, speaker, or their parents have found the west islamicly livable to bring their family.
Critise his views or opinions, but insulting him or treating him like trash is not the way of a respectful muslim.
