Man this almost bring tears in my eyes to see how much the mods have evolved.
I'm the original author of many of these mods. Move it, Find It, most of what's now in Network Anarchy (those fire Chirps were a blast to make, pun intended), AVO, Cinematic Camera Ex and more.
Thanks for making this video, took me down the nostalgia lane.

The list on its own is great, but the how to use them part makes it wonderful. Thanks so much for putting this together.

Just getting back into cities and all my old mods were broken. I'd nearly given up but this was a great refresher to get the essentials thank you!

Highly recommend Skyve too! Really helpful for a player like me who has various cities with various styles and assets and instead of downloading and redownloading things, separate profiles allow for easy switching between my map editor loadout, my vanilla load-outs etc, but great video!

When you place a water source, any size can be used to suck out the water, not just 0. Place a full sized water source and adjust the height to below where the current water is and it will still suck out the excess water. Drop the height to the minimum level and the effect is somewhat dramatic. I'll do land reclamation just by drawing the outline and putting a water source dropped to the minimum height in the middle and the water inside the outline is gone really quickly without the tsunami that you usually get when displacing a lot of water. It is also useful like this to tame rivers that tend to flood, particularly at the outflow of a dam. You can have a massive 1600MW dam empty into a small pond without any flooding using the water source correctly.

You're not wrong about this being the ultimate mods guide - this was phenomenally useful.

I was a bit sad when I saw this because I was looking forward to settling into my Sunday morning city build watch, saw it was about mods, and went "oh poop" - but you taught me about fifty things I didn't know as someone who has had all of these mods installed for ages.

I was really intrigued what mods you use. So I searched for it on YouTube. Must be my lucky day that after a few years you decided to post a Beginners Guide where you would showcase all the mods. 1 hour before I decided to search for it. Thank you kind sir

You just blew my mind with the Mirror function in Move It!! When I don’t feel like plopping every building I’ll copy blocks and spin them around. This will make that so much easier!!

I've used Move It! for years and use only a few things. Your tutorial on this mod opened a lot more possibilites that will make my play so MUCH easier. Thanks

Your Midwest really stands out when you start talking about custom "Tegs"

I've ALWAYS wanted to know what mod you had that rotated the trees!
Fantastic work as usual! I can't wait to delve back into the game and use the plentiful knowledge you've bestowed to make a really visually stunning city!

Wonderful timing! I'm just now starting to get back into gameplay after my husband passed away a little over a year ago. I really need to get reacquainted with the game so that when Cities Skylines 2 gets here I at least feel comfortable playing the game again. Thank you so much for all of your videos because I really enjoy them!

I would put precision engineering above move it. Having a standard measurement is absolutely crucial and I can't believe it's not part of the standard game.

I just recently bought a computer so I could play with mods instead of playing on my PS5. This video was perfect timing for me since mods are completely new to me and I need all the help I can get. Great stuff! regardless I watch all of your content anyways

I'd say 81 Tiles 2 is second most important mode behind Loading Screen Mod tbh.

You are so useful for me as I'm a starter in cities skylines and I have wondering how people make their roads look nice and stuff like that. And no one goes into detail except for you as you make 40 minute videos, but every minute is worth it. I give you my appreciation for working so hard on these videos!

I just finished watching your 2 year old tips for begginers video, and i'm amazed at how much your voice (or mic) has improved over the years. It feels like 2 completely different persons
