if there's a 1% chance of a spider jockey spawning in your world then I guess I'm lucky. on one of my world's I was protecting my villagers from zombies and slimes when this skeleton riding a spider started attacking me. it was so weird. and it really scared me. I thought it was a glitch.

The reason why the spider eyes are still visible when using a potion of invisibility, is because the eyes of a spider are actually a completely different entity.
