Emotional Big Sister Holds Baby Brother for the First Time

Minutes after being born, these proud parents wanted the newborn's big sister to join the celebration! It's hard to hold back tears during such an emotional moment!

The first time my daughter held her brother she was 7 years old. We had gotten them home and sat her on the couch and placed pillows around them so she could hold him. She was so tiny herself. The look of pride on her face was so priceless. Jump 20 some years later--they are still close.

This makes me happy and sad. My mom passed on the 24 of September. The things that have happened has shined a light of how distant my siblings and I are today. I had a vision of unity but reality is I was never liked much. Being the baby, spoiled, troublesome, and loved seem to put a strain on them. I wish it could be like this!

My nephew head was like that when he was born. I scared to mention it to my sister at the hospital. I called him sickle head. It straighten out and is perfectly round.

This is so great. Older siblings like that its always something special for them to seem to be a part of it.
We had three kids aged 14, 11, and 7...they were all excited but I wanted to go a little further with the 14 year old who pretty much had tears in her eyes when we told her she would be in the delivery room. She is very mature. Best part is I surprised her as I am the one that has cut the cord on all of our other children when the nurse looked at us and asked "Who is cutting the cord? " I pointed to our 14 year old and with some tears In her wyes our 14 year old cut the cord. I thought it would be an awesome experience and it was. Before anyone says anything my 14 year old is mature for her age and she did a great job. Once I can edit I might even post a video of it on my channel. It was a very emotional day.

Beautiful, very sweet. I had a good friend who was an L&D nurse, and they had nicknames for the various shapes of baby's heads, just after being squeezed down and out the birth canal. This lil' fella is a "cone head." Obviously, they get set right soon enough.
