I love how we have gotten so used to these clowns evading the law that actually complying with a SUBPOENA makes headline news.

Complying with laws is a really smart way to NOT end up behind bars. That's free legal advice.

They should all be testifying and being questioned! No one is above the law!

I like my current boss and would do what he tells me to do, however I would not go to prison for him. I can't understand why so many people are willing to risk their freedoms over a man like Trump.

Executive privilege rests with the current executive. It goes to accountability. You can hide the criminality while in office but not when you leave.

It’s simple Mark, either talk to us and get your knuckles slapped or go to prison. Two choices.

All this could have been avoided if only Trump could simply have accepted the results of a free and fair election.

The sooner all these “powerful” men see the inside of a jail cell, the faster we can return to some normalcy.

He is complying, not cooperating. Same as he did with J6 committee. Maybe DOJ can put more pressure on him. Threat of jail makes some talk a little more.

“In my administration, I’m going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information. No one will be above the law. One of the first things we must do is to enforce all classification rules and to enforce all laws relating to the handling of classified information.” Trump (September 2016)

It gets me that they don’t see themselves as people who broke any laws even when they know they broke laws: they just regard it as a law that somebody didn’t draft properly with the exclusions that cover important people like themselves.

Any delay in this investigation of these classified documents increases our national security threat and the lives of numerous individuals around the country who have cooperated with our government helping our national security. That is the most important topic of this investigation. Shame on everybody who's involved in the stalling of this.

Bet there's going to be a lot of "I invoke my Fifth Amendment rights", except when talking helps protect him against being made the patsy for it all by his co-conspirators.

Once again, presuming that “executive privilege” is a privilege that serves — belongs to — people in the executive. Its purpose is to allow communications to remain secret IF AND ONLY IF revealing them would damage the executive’s ability to govern. It can’t possibly apply to people in themselves, and certainly not people who are not even governing!
