Export Routes to Garmin Devices

Here's a quick demo on how to export routes for Edge series devices.

We recommend selecting TCX Course for all Edge series. (except the 20, 25, and 520 which require FIT files)

The eTrex, Oregon, and Montana series should use GPX Track and put it into the GPX folder.

Cool... thanks. A stupid question... Does that also pull over any POI's from RWG? I can't seem to find a way to do same anywhere? Thanks.

Hi and tahnks for share this video. Any question: i have a 1030 Edge, what is the best format (more details of route) for export and load in my 1030 ? I read TCX, here, but i have already read the FIT format is the most advanced format. On site Ride w GPS i see 630 mt. D+, but, after put FIT file in the folder 'New Files', i see, on a screen of my 1030 over 900 mt D+ ! And is normal i see name WP truncated and not entire ? Many thanks for support and sorry for my not good english. Many thanks again. Corrado, Italy.

Great video. Do you know how we can do it the reverse way; take a ride I made with my garmin and convert it to ERG file so I can use it with my home traininer?

I don't have a computer. This does me no good. I got an app on the phone and payment for premium and can't do anything. This sucks and I want my money back. Seriously who sits at home and does this when phone navigation is so good that this app only works on a pc to add routes? Better to just use the maps in the phones
