I loved how Ben’s increasing skills showed how powerful his original 10 actually were which is why it always irritated me that in later installments he never seemed to improve skill wise. You got to see that when he unlocked Diamond Head again and bodies Villgax though. Diamond Head used to be rock candy when fighting the big V but you get to see how kickass he can be when Ben masters him.

In Omniverse he gets slapped around like he had never been in a fight before, they just give him a tougher alien when things got tough.

Heatblast > Swampfire

Heatblast is immune to fire and can also command fire itself.

Even use Swampfire's own fire for extra emotional damage. Heatblast vs Swampfire isn't really a fight to begin with.

Mastery can even enable Heatblast to stop burning anything that touches him, to the point of holding a person without being roasted alive.
