Using the samsplint as a filter protector is one of the best ideas I have seen in a while!

I've started using Aarn Balance pockets, either on their pack or on my regular pack. That's where I stash my camera gear (and other kit). It's very accessible at the front, doesn't obscure the view of the trail at your feet and the weight is transferred to the hip belt. They are a New Zealand brand, but have a distributor in WA state.

Dude this is AMAZING!!! Finally the stuff I’ve been looking for: lightweight practical packable solutions and not the bougie super heavy packing of non-hikers. Thank you so much for this! can’t wait to see more!!🔥

Good stuff! Unless you shoot astro, fast glass for landscapes is overkill. Now try backpacking while being a landscape AND wildlife photographer. Trying to figure out how to arrange my kit with a wildlife lens and you gave me some good ideas!

Great video dude! Finding a convenient way to carry my gear has been a (fun) challenge, and this helped a lot. Thanks!

I make all sorts of weight reductions just to pack a Nikon d4.

I donr know if you have a drone, but im looking for a Fanny pack to store it. I have the dji mini 3. If you have one, does it fit in it?

Hey thanks! Do you use the same setup if you're hiking in below freezing temps? How do you keep yourself and your gear warm/comfortable when it's 7°F or colder?

This was an awesome find as someone trying to combine my two favorite hobbies into one. Have you considered the hyperlite camera pod (large version) by any chance? What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Thank you so much for your video! I’ve been searching for a way to transport my Hasselblad 500c/m with the lens and back on and the hyperlite versa is looking like quite the contender. It’s so hard to judge though just looking at dimensions online 😅

Have you considered about the Camera Pod produced also by HMG?

Can you fit the lens/camera in the fanny pack with the lens on if it’s in sideways?
