I found this video 3 days ago and I'm trying it today. I can never get my mini twists took good like everyone else's on YouTube/Tiktok and it's frustrating. I always do mini twists the regular way but my twists always end up frizzy after a week, so I usually re-do them every week and can’t stretch it to 2 weeks without me looking crazy. I love how you flat twisted the roots and it looks a lot neater! I think i’ll try it next wash day, thank you for the video :))

i usually wouldn't do a style like this (flat to my head, zero volume) but u made it look so good im like waittt... now i wanna give it a try 😭😭 i have type 3 hair so twists usually don't last long for me, but the flat twisting at the root is actually so smart, i think they'd last longer if i did that!
