WATCH OUT- We got a new product to review this TIME. They are really ROLLING out the red carpet for this one.
Idk if it's actually the first digital TTRPG watch, but that's what it says on their site SOOOO

I normally have more negatives to say about things that I review, and it was genuinely both nice and difficult to have a product that I don't really have any complaints for. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

If you have any ideas for what you would like to see built/reviewed in the future, let me know in the comments down below! Then subscribe so you don't miss any new videos coming out in the future! Also, if you liked this, gimme that sweet sweet like.

WATCH yourself, we ain't got no TIME for ROLLING out the hater-ade!
I genuinely did like this thing, but it's always difficult to do a video without many complaints and feel REAL. I hope it didn't seem disingenuous. :)

To be fair, screwdrivers that size can be bought at the dollar store where you can also likely buy the battery so it's pretty easy just to grab one when you need to replace it

If I'd have had this in school, I would have never stopped fiddling with it!

As much as I love these kinds of gadgets, two things stop me from buying one:
1. It's just too expensive for what it is
2. It's very DnD-centric, I'd love to be able to program in different modes for other systems (e.g. Lancer Accuracy/Difficulty) or even at least have the d100 as part of the regular dice set, not hidden behind "combat mode"

It's totally a niche thing, but it looks cool enough to easily gift it to people who are not that much into tabletop.

Honestly this is the kind of thing you'd get in a friend groups to make plans based on dice rolls or solve arguments with advantage haha

It looks like an old school Casio and I love it!

This looks so cool! As a person who already fidgets with his watch I will be rolling dice all day at work!

This is so cool and nerdy, i love it! The only thing that sucks is that you can't use it for sorcerer because you might your Empowering to get a higher roll

As a person who likes to collect nonstandard die, this is right up my alley. I will certainly be picking one up.

A very pleasing object. I like the style, I like the functionality. I have no use for one, but it's very neat

We were just about to hit the road too! But these look pretty sweet, can't wait to watch the review. How did they roll?

This would a real cool role-playing element for an English Spy themed campaign if anyone ever wanted to write up 007 lol

Honestly reminds me a bit of the basic/classic CASIO watches.
Just with 1 extra button to roll the die ^^

Also: if you work on stuff like a SteamDeck you are bound to have the size of screwdrivers already as you need the same size for those devices.

I have to ask: The bubble or whatever that is in the corner: is that a proective foile you didn't pull of yet or ist that a production error? That would be a deal breaker for me sadly at that price.

Honestly the “user replaceable” thing isn’t really an issue imo, since for most watches the other option is prying the back off with a tiny flathead screwdriver, so either way you’re going to need a wee little screwdriver. Those screws look to be about the same size as the screws on a glasses frame, so anyone who wears glasses may likely already have one, and if not, they’re extremely cheap and accessible.

I'd really like this more if it was a hybrid analog design. Segmented LCD similar to the game and watch ones could actually show a "picture" of the die as it's rolling as well. It is cool being an oldschool analog "cheap" watch but for something at this price point I would have expected more.

My verdict: niche but also cool! Definitely had fun watching this vid (pun _absolutely_ intended)
