I feel like these are the reverse of what they should be. The story of that one corner being number 2, but Taka holding on and the mechanics getting him back out there for him to make an incredible charge is the number 1 story of the weekend IMO, and the kind of stuff I watch rally for.

Go Taka! I'll be cheering for you next year!

Taka-san is showing the world that he is ready for the 2024 WRC Championship in earnest. What an incredibly nice feeling to have Rally Japan as a gauge of what is to come. It's just a shame that the accident on SS 2 ruined his chance to win on home soil. More to come from the happy man, Taka-san. 🗾🎌🏯🏁🚗 💨🧑👍

Taka got unlucky :( but he was so determined to try to win that he won almost half the rallys stages, i think it was 9 in total

U know why those corners are so slippery, it's the drift lads laying rubber down. Water just sits on the surface

Taka could of won it by a mile. The pace he was putting in until that 🌳 was impressive and to be fair to the lad after service and 5 minutes down. To hunt Ott down and nearly pinch Esapekka Lappi. He was my driver of the weekend. If Kalle is only doing one half of next season. We could see a some great battles between Ott Thierry and my favourite now Elfyn. Elfyn has been so unlucky to finish second so many times I'd really love to see him pinch the title.

Thank god the Hyundai crew where behind the car when the Ford arrived. There could have been a very different story from this event otherwise.
