Streamline Your Workflow with Robotic GPU Integration and Screwdriving
Показать описание
Bright Machines, has developed an automated solution for the pick-and-place and screw driving of heavy and high-value graphic processing unit (GPU) clusters into server chassis using FANUC CR collaborative robots.
How the system works:
Bright Machines' system works by automating the GPU integration process for AI servers. Initially, an automated end-of-arm tool attachment is used for GPU handling. The system replaces current manual operations with integrated computer vision, 3D navigation, and force sensors to precisely lift GPU clusters weighing over 50 pounds into the AI server chassis. Following this, the end-of-arm tool is automatically changed to a screwdriving tool. Additional torque sensors are then used to drive 17 screws, including seven blind screws, to secure the GPU cluster without causing any damage to the board.
Key Benefits
• Full Automation: Bright Machines fully automates currently manual GPU integration processes
• Error Elimination: Eliminates human error involved with handling heavy, $250,000+ GPU clusters
• Advanced Technology: Utilizes computer vision, Bright Machines' proprietary 3D navigation model, and force and torque sensors
• Zero-Scrap Operations: Ensures zero-scrap operations during the assembly process
About Bright Machines
Bright Machines is an industry-leading software and robotics company that offers a full-stack automation solution for manufacturing. Bright Machines’ flexible automated assembly specializes in building the AI backbone – AI hardware infrastructure. By leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and software applications, Bright Machines transforms the way products can be designed and manufactured.
FANUC CR Collaborative Robots
The world’s strongest collaborative robot, the CR-35iB offers a payload of 35kg or 50kg with a limited workload, while being able to work alongside operators in a variety of applications that would typically require lift assist devices or custom equipment. With a large work envelope and small installation footprint, it’s ideal for tight warehouse spaces and set up is a breeze using hand guidance or “drag and drop” programming on FANUC’s tablet TP.
FANUC FS-40iA
FANUC Force Sensors allow our robots the ability to sense applied force in multiple directions, while also detecting force and torque applied to the end effector in 6 degrees of freedom, providing an almost human sense of touch and the ability to undertake work previously done by craftsmen. Four different sizes of Force Sensors are available for 6-axis FANUC robots with payload capacities up to 250 kg. FANUC Force Sensors achieve maximum uptime by combining fewer parts with FANUC reliability.
