Hello, on the second part of the question where you mention the points where Dy/DX < 0 doesn't that mean when the gradient is less than zero. So instead of the area where Y is negative(or below the axis) shouldn't it be the parts of the graph where it slopes downwards. I *tried* drawing a rough graph to show my point:
\ /\ /

\_/
So I'm trying to show the part where the gradient or dy/dX <0 or \ these areas.
I hope you understand my question, your an absolute legend btw

Hi TL Maths, this may be a really stupid question but for some reason I understand complex concepts yet I am confused with gradients and like sketches

I thought the equation of a line is
y - y1 = 2 (x - x1)
Yet in the last question your 2 had a minus before it? Why was it negative?

Hi. for the last one do we not find the recriprocal of 5 as its a tangent? i thought it would be -1/5, then you solve. Thanks and really appreciate your videos
