I just picked up a cheap 986 2.7 yesterday so felt the same way you did. Always wanted one and totally love it so far. I had a lovely sunny 2hr drive back down country roads with the top down tho!

Congratulations!! One of the best videos I've watched in a while. Down to earth...genuine pleasure and pride in owning your dream car...even if it's almost 20 years old with such high mileage. Awesome! Beautiful colour and very rare. You did exactly the same thing I did then I got home with my Gti cabriolet....took some steel wool and polish and cleaned up the heavily carboned up exhaust tips. 😂 Enjoy this beauty and looking forward to seeing the progress.😁🙌🏼
