"Make comics for yourself." Thank you. I think that's the most powerful and motivating statement I've heard about making a comic so far. If the story makes me happy, I'm gonna tell it. Maybe it will make someone else happy, too.

Thanks so much for this video! I had no idea the sub view had ARROWS to cycle!! I’ve been just deleting a reference and then opening a different one!! This is literally going to up my game, can’t wait for more from you! 😄

My advice: don't worry about not having a fanbase.
Similar to Rule 34: if it exists, there's a fanbase for it. No matter what your webcomic is about or how "good/bad" it is or even what changes you may make, there will always be people out there who will like it!
I think there's a sense of comfort in that. The fanbase in question may or may not be massive, but even 1 (not counting yourself) is more than 0. If you know there's someone out there that'll like whatever you end up doing, it takes away a lot of fear of making something nobody will like. Obviously this doesn't mean it's okay to make universally/objectively illegal and immoral content, just that you don't need to be afraid to experiment, try something unusual or do something you want that's more unconventional. Just be sure you publish at the appropriate sites for what their ToS allows and what you're making lol.

Oh. Wow. I didn't even think about using materials for repeat graphics like that... I feel so dumb. lol! This made me excited to get my own comics going again after so long. Thank you!

i'm late but I use 3D models for anything i draw as i struggle with sketches and always felt bad for it because it felt like tracing, i had no idea so many artists use them too, thank you!😭💕

What a great video! Thanks for this. I just launched a webcomic and found this very valuable. Both for webcomics or any long-form comics project. A lot of this would apply to graphic novels as well. And that whole Sub View thing! I've been using CSP for years and never found that. I'm going to share this with my comics buddies. :D

Ok so, I’ll be starting my Webtoon soon but the thing is that about to start college and I don’t know if I would have time for both things, I would like to make updates every week…but I’m not sure I could

Excellent lessons! May I ask? I read from YouTube that, for the speech bubble or quotation, I MUST USE ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS. In your samples you use Title case and normal sentences. It looks much better and feel natural. Thanks,
