You dont need to open whole case. Only this first part. And then there is enough room to unplug battery. Problem is it doesnt do anything. I did that, and nothing changed in my bios. Not even one setting.

I did everything at once.. including a reset shorting two pins inside the motherboard bellow the ram... it reseted thhe ram... but now that my HD has no OS... f2, f10 or del are not working to enter bios... any tips on that?

What is the difference between the samsumg Ultrabook Np530u3c and np535u3c? Can you use the motherboard of both on the same housing?

Why is the battery like that and not have its contact soldered on the board? It seems inefficient to have it go through the wires and a terminal.

I tried it before, but it is not useful tips to reset bios. This model's bios doesn't reset with this ways.. if you forget the bios password, you can find with code that comes out when you enter wrong password over than 3times. You can find tools in google.

Lol, the dumb ass did it backwards. That push button through the case gets pressed for a few seconds (to be safe 20 seconds) but only after the bios battery is disconnected. I did that and went for a puff with it disconnected. When I returned and reconnected everything, it booted to bios showing 00:00:05 seconds for time. (My original issue was when I chose f10 I also chose to load system default settings. After that, there was nothing but a lit gray screen staring at me. No hdd action, nothing) Be careful when loading default bios settings on a Samsung. As for the battery for the Bios, I saw someone recently mention the video was useless because they didn't include the battery details.
It's not useless, it shows the type of battery connected so you don't just assume it's a cr2032. This one uses a cr1616 that has the plug and wire takeoff from it. If you can make solder stick then you could make your own with a piece of heat shrink but even grinding the surface of a battery, I can't make a wire and solder stick. It needs to be done electrically. They sell cr1616 with tabs on them and you would have to attach the wires. (Check eBay and Amazon)
