Cast-in-Drilled-Hole (CIDH)

Limited access jobs where it doesn't make sense to use a big machine or a pile type that will cause vibrations and produce spoils CIDH may be a solution.

As the name indicates, CIHD are drilled, full displacement, cast-in-place concrete pile. No spoils are created during drilling. Installed with a permanent or temporary casing. Piles are high load-bearing capacity (compression, tension & lateral). Installation is low noise and vibration free.

Satisfies seismic design requirements.
Widely used by Caltrans.
Approved by the city of Los Angeles.
