The WORST STEAKHOUSE in BRITAIN - DO NOT GO HERE!

I'm back in Central London today and have a bit of a controversial video and a restaurant that I've been asked to review quite a few times. Angus Steakhouse has been going viral recently due to Londoners encourage people to eat there in order to keep tourists out of some of London's top restaurants are they're too busy... a bit naughty!

It's been the same for 40 years. Surprised it still exists, ripping off tourists as it did back in the 80s.

Blatant tourist trap more interested in ripping people off than putting out good food. It's a miracle they're still in business. £61.26 for a tough steak you can barely cut through and they can't even be bothered to make their own chips. Absolute broad daylight robbery.

It’s been crap since I was born 50 years ago. I cannot believe they are still in business - this chain is an embarrassment to London. It must be staying in business by ripping off tourists. Well done for highlighting this Gary.

I remember taking my girlfriend to one in the late 70s as I thought it would impress her. She married me anyway but even after almost 45 years of marriage she still remembers my embarrassment at the rip off meal we got! Oh and our feet stuck to the carpet when we walked in.

I've been recovering from serious health problems (ME/CFS crash) for the about past two months. One of the issues was that I had no appetite, and therefore couldn't eat, and couldn't recover my strength. I got recommended your channel. The first video I watched was of a good breakfast, but I don't remember which. The next morning, I asked my husband to cook me potatoes, bacon, toast, and a tomato.

Your kind but honest demeanor and calm dad jokes, along with all the great food, helped me to de-stress and recover my appetite. I'm still working through this, but without your channel, I might still be lying in bed drinking gross protein shakes rather than sitting up and eating Thanksgiving leftovers. So, thank you from the U.S. -- I won't be able to go to these places, but your channel has still been incredibly useful to me.

A very recent discovery, I am now hooked on Gary's videos.! These are, by turns, hilarious, entertaining, insightful and very honest appraisals. Gary is the real deal.

Telltale signs of a bad steak:
1. You receive a steak knife with a serrated edge.
2. The steak cuts like shoe leather - even with said steak knife.
3. Gary's facial expressions.
4. Your mandibular muscles get a full Arnold Schwarzenegger pump whilst chewing
5. You utter the words "come on!" when attempting to cut a thinner slice of steak.

I applaud your composure and patience Gary. You're always a class act!

I’ve had a special place in my heart for Angus Steakhouses since the 90’s….a dark, sneering place of disdain and hostility. That steak was sub-par meat, carelessly butchered. And the sauce appeared to be thickened with starch. You took one for the team here, Gary. Your suffering confirmed that these places are still as bad as they’ve always been.
