OMG i didn't know this. I just read about the benefits of cold showers recently. Bathing with hot water makes my skin very dry and i feel very lazy. On the other hand, a cold shower makes me feel very confident. I took cold showers for 2 days straight but it's 7°C here. I saw people taking a dip in a lake even when the temperature was 2°C, and i saw bodybuilders taking ice baths, so i thought that it's good and it will increase self control, my control over my emotions and mind. Not just that but i read that cold showers help improve our skin quality while hot water makes it dry.

As long as you're young, healthy. There's nothing to worry about. A small advice would be to not rush immediately to the cold shower. Go slowly and start from your hands and legs then go to your body and let your head be the least thing that touches cold water, don't let your head sit under the cold water for a long time. Don't shower for more than 3 minutes

This is right i think young ones wouldnt get heart issues but in long run its not safe, im saying from my personal experience having cold showers in 5-7 degrees. The best is have a bath from which you dont shiver at all or to simplify not hot nor cold have a between of warm & cool

Bro i take showers with the coldest water possible and yes in winter too.
Now, during winter, im taking these showers and the water BURNS me, BURNS my skin. But i still take them bcz it feels soooo good after the shower

I am on my day 14 of freezing cold shower here in Toronto Canada, weather is normally below -10 degrees celcius so its extremely cold but its been the best 2 weeks o fmy life, its caused a lot of benefits, starting off with being super refreshed like you just had 4 coffee shots but its clean energy and last for a while without any crash, mental clarity, strong will, easier to handle stress, no more road rage for me, overall good mood happy and energetic, thoughtful, helps with muscle pain or soreness after gym, best thing is to take it first thing int he morning and then after again if you need to refreshen up. I could never imagine ever taking cold showers on purpose but in 2 weeks after what i've been experiencing i am actually getting addicted to it.

Cold shower should be take from below starting from legs and this way it reduces body shock but don't take cold water if u have a phobia from oceans seas etc that makes u think like ur drowning and can cause painc attack. Bye for now it's time for my cold shower

I'm 15 and today i took my first cold shower

Start during summer to get used to it, then it will be easy during winter. I now have cold showers even in -20C winter days with no shivers. It becomes normal over time. I remember before even touching cold tap water feels like electrocuted 😂

If i take hot water for shower for 2 or 3 days i get sick cold, coughing and fever ....im taking cold shower from past 4 years im feel very fit and healthy every time
