I recently picked up this brush about a week ago and have been loving it! One thing that really put me over the edge to buy it was the Sephora rep was telling me how it's designed for people with texture issues and I definitely have texture issues!! They had just done a lesson earlier that day using the brush to apply foundation to an orange and an apple. She showed me the orange and it looked amazingly smooth! I was very impressed! I didn't even think to try it with powder but I will try that out tomorrow! I spot clean all my brushes at night after cleansing and I'll continue to do so with this brush- however, I do think I'll do a thorough clean once a week as well. I make sure the white bristles are as clean as I can get them every night!
