"CNN anchor Abby Phillip was stunned when Rep. Nance Mace (R-SC) refused to denounce former President Donald Trump’s racial attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris.

Things got wild on Thursday night’s edition of CNN NewsNight, when Mace told the panel “I will say Kamala’s name any way that I want to,” igniting a fracas."

You missed that Mace's response on X calling two accomplished Black men "boys" is another racist dog whistle. She knows what she's doing and who she's trying to appeal to.

And for Mace, who is from South Carolina, to refer to Black men as “boys”. Really? Tell us again how you aren’t racist?

Mispronouncing a name is forgivable. Doing it deliberately is disrespectful and infantile.

As a Congresswoman, she's knows EXACTLY how to correctly pronounce Xi Jinping, Benjamin Netanyahu, Vladimir Putin, Ali Khamenei, and Mohammed bin Salman.

They're not dumb!

If you mispronounce someone's name after being corrected 3 times, now you're just choosing to be an a**hole, and that's not cool.

The part that they missed was that she originally said her name correctly, then went back to purposely say it wrong.

Either Mace is lying or she’s incredibly poorly informed…..neither is good.

She didn't just say she can call her whatever she wants but claimed she will respect her when she feels she's a real woman. Mentioning being the real woman was just more than offensive.

She pronounced it correctly then corrected herself to call it wrong!!

Mace claims she didn't hear what he said so they tell her and she still refuses to say what she thinks if he said it. That is very telling of the kind of person she is.

Nancy should change her name to Karen because that is how she is acting.

She pronounced it easily and correctly at first, then immediately mispronounced it intentionally and just kept going with it to impress Trump and the base. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Oh my goodness. My Papou was Greek and his name was Americanized at Ellis Island . I've been practicing medicine for over 3 decades. I ALWAYS attempt to pronounce my patient's name correctly. It is a measure of respect. Sometimes I can't quite get some inflections of pronunciation but I try. My patients appreciate that I care.

Actually she pronounced it correctly for a split second caught herself and immediately went back to the pronunciation that sounds more African.. the proper articulation sounds almost like Pamela which is Very Comfortable for White Folks.. so absolutely proving IT WAS COMPLETELY RACIST..

Y’all should’ve engaged with the full clip. She said it correctly and she corrected herself for accidentally saying it RIGHT. And that’s how we know mispronouncing the name was intentional.

WTF was CNN thinking by inviting Nasty Mace on their network?

She actually accidently said her name properly then "corrected" herself to purposely say it wrong. How did you guys not bring this up? Cenks take is reaching. He is becoming a "both sider" on every issue, just because, it seems. A random person saying her name wrong and someone in office intentionally mispronouncing are not the same. AT ALL. Matter of fact it is the reason why the random person is prolly saying her name incorrectly, in the first place.
