Thank you for the video! I believe you may be the only one who has a video on the 2024 method. I'm in my mid-50s, and I still have a CD player in my car, so I wanted to try this out. There's nothing better than a great '80s mix!. I will pass this video to other friends wanting to do the same.

thanks for the video, other tutorials just vaguely described it without showing us anything. I haven't burned a CD since I was 11 years old so very helpful despite it not being "rocket science".

I bought a few professional CD mastering machines in 1999 before the DMCA went into effect which stripped audiophiles from owning such equipment. They were $600 each. I still use them today _(no computer needed!)_ to burn custom .WAV files according to Red Book CD TEXT format. Happy camper I am! 😆

Sir, if I could like your video here a thousand times, I would.
You have no idea how much you've shed light on something that had this boomer grandmother in tears until your terrific instruction. I needed an accompaniment CD burned from downloaded file for this Sunday. I tried and tried without success. My son used to help me with this, but we are empty nesters now. I now have my two needed CDs burned! Definitely subscribing. Thank you again!

Thanks. I looked all over as to why my cds would not play on cd player. Looked all over for the "audio cd" function. Finally found it when you clicked the little drop down box. Eureka

Thank you so much for this, I want to increase my CD collection, but some albums just aren't available for sale. This was super helpful!

Worked well I was just confused on the storage part, had like 40 songs that I wanted to burn onto a CD. And only 18 songs went onto the Disc. Got it figured out as it has to be under the 80min limit. Overall great explanation on how to burn music files onto Discs and I don't have to install a program to do it. This was pretty easy, as I've been wanting to relive that era of making your own CD mix, was fun and will have some dics kept in the car.

Give the guy some credit:
This is by far the easiest way to burn an audio-cd in Windows.
Even though I'm used to using more advanced burning software an probably a better cd-writer, I still did learn something today: There is a far easier and faster way to do it if you like.
And yes, converting mp3s to an audio-cd is not ideal: The cd will never sound better than the original audio source. But we all know that... maybe except the Spotify-generation. 🙂
I learned something today. Thanks!

I use to have windows, but now I have an Apple computer and I haven’t a clue how to even set up a play list or the page where you burn the cd. My other computer it was easy, now I’m lost!

Jesus Christ this is literally the worst way to make a Music CD. MP3 and Windows Media Player will make the sound of the CDs terribly horrible. It really tricked the consumer market to make horrible sounding audio CDs back in the day. First, you should consider getting a Plextor CD writer or something similar. This is optional, but a quality CD burner would provide much more accurate results. Second, never ever convert MP3 or WMA into Audio CD. It is a waste of quality. Always try to obtain the WAV file (or FLAC/ALAC) file of the same song. Third, don't use Windows Media Player. Use a third-party CD burning application like Nero or some other out there which accurately records the WAV file onto the CD and doesn't double transcode the audio file like Windows Media Player does. Professionals used to use Sony CD Architect. This is what I use. It's a very old 32 bit application, but still works in Windows 10.

I bought an external one, says it does DVD CDs etc, all in one. But it won't read any CD-R? I pop the disk in and it says there isn't one.

This video should be updated for Windows 11. As far as I can tell, and I examined it very thoroughly, the burn ability in Media Player has been removed.
