Yes, phrasal verbs are a big part of colloquial English. Your answer is brilliant. Thank you 🙏

I thought about it, too, and I'm satisfied with the answer. That's great that you gave the example of any formal, informal and neutral phrasal verbs.

Very useful topic! I had this question in my mind: Are phrasal verbs always informals?

Though this video I found out that the answer is no!. Some phrasal verbs are informal, some of them are formal and some of them are neutral.

This lesson was great! Very simple, direct, funny, and useful. Thank you very much!

Hello teacher! Could you tell about phrasal verbs which don't have a single equivalent verb. My question is: all phrasal verbs have a single equivalent verb?

In case no, would be great talk about a list of phrasal verbs that don't have a single equivalent verb. I think that lesson would be another great lesson about a fundamental question about phrasal verbs.

Thank you theacher!

You don't have to replace "set off" with "commence". You can can use "start".
Point taken, though. Thanks.

I used to think that all phrasal verbs were informal too. I have to start learning them.

Awesome video ♥ I'm using Anki to memorize them, my problem is that some of them have several meanings, or the same meaning that another phrasal verb has, this drives me crazy, but with practice I believe they'll be internalized

Good afternoon I hope you are fine . Please can you help me? "To take back" is also means: to repeat

True or false ?

For instance if you I say : Sorry please. Didn't get you well. Can you please take your voice back ?

Is it right or false?
