I only have to look at the unhappy faces in the £45k to £60k cars driving down my road. Huge monthly payments for status cars they'll never own. That guy with the LADA gets my respect as he's enjoying his car. His car is interesting in a way a lot of modern cars aren't.

My uncle has one of those and uses it as a workhorse. Those cars are made to be affordable and cheap to maintain. During the winter, his Lada starts easily from the first try, even when temperatures fall to - 25 degree Celsius. It's quite reliable too- broke down only one or two times and my uncle fixed it with just a hammer and screwdriver lol. Those cars are pretty tough and durable, but the big problem is the rust.

Believe me or not i am very familiar with this Russian Lada car. My grandmother used to take me to kinder garden back in 80s in that car collar was red as well. Thanks for bringing this car Scotty.
