Why double standards??Equality?
When a Sikh IPS can wear Turban on his head why not a Muslim women Ips can wear scarf

As per my personal opinion the law should be same for every single government/Private personnel without any exception.

However if officers from Sikh community are permitted to carry their turban & beard then why not Muslim officers are permitted to carry their headgear/beard/hijab etc. along with Hindu personnel with a shikha/choti(if they are not allowed)?

As per my thought any religious way of attire and look should be permitted as long as they are getting synchronised with the official uniform e.g Khaki colored Turban/Hijab etc., and if not then none should be allowed categorically. That's it.

*Note: Any counter opinion or justification is welcomed but within the boundary of modesty.*

I have known muslim women who have achieved soo much in their life and still didn't hide their face ..so I asked 1 elder sister who is muslim by religion that why don't u hide face just like others..she replied to me " I am strong enough to knock down every one who is evil and my Allah is always with me ".
And btw this elder sister is a scientist..
In our society people love her so much for her nature, behaviour and everything..she never did anything wrong in her life..
But neither she needed to hide her face nor her hair..
And yes lot many people would start assuming that just becoz she didn't hide face, she must be wearing short clothes like Bollywood heroines..
No -she is a very pious person..she had always been wearing modest clothes just like our mothers and teachers

At the same time I have known a woman who was a thief in train and had been wearing black coloured veil..so hijab doesn't uplifts woman

It's the woman whose work uplifts her

And don't compare hijab with turbans..becoz turban is for those men who have long hair.. becoz men can't work with long hair
But woman can work with long hair..soo hijab is not mandatory..
Even though I am not against it..but justifying it by comparing it with turbans, or telling that it's crown is totally wrong.

A Sikh is allowed to wear the turban in the army, police etc, but a Muslim woman is scarf is being questioned.

Changing attire to suit the system is not real hijab. HIjab is not just a piece of cloth worn on head, it is an emotion of attachment to Allah (SWT) from our hearts and it is also a shield of protection. So, it is necessary to bring changes in the system to respect the culture and beliefs of hijabis.

Religious identity and national identity both are separate but equally important. Forcing anyone to choose one or others is like choosing between right hand or left hand.
In Islam religion hijab is seen as crown of women, just like Turban for Sikh, Tilak & Sindoor for Hindu.

When in minority "I will change it according to rules"
When in majority "we will change the rules to sharia rules"
THIS IS THE REALITY.
