Ok, so the only thing actually "confirmed" is that, in the future, base HOI4 will include the content of the first 3 DLC's? No actual confirmation of Germany or Japan or USA Focus Tree rework??

Germany and Japan, try to think something relate to them.
I hope they reduce the cost of refitting, or somehow make navy more accessible, people alway tend to spam Sub 3 and call it a day, maybe add a research slot for Navy, but it will take way longer to research on that slot? (I'm alway forget about the Naval Tech Tree).
Also, please reduce Armored Car cost, I mean cheap Interwar Tank way better than Armored Car.

My wishlist of random stuff:
- Better Czechslovakia focus tree
- Warlord independent path
- Siam focus tree
- More releasables in Central Europe
- Irish focus tree

There was a rant about next dlc and somebody said: Albania, ireland, German rework, japanese rework, belgium, Siam, luxemburg, austria and indies. Then a guy from paradox said This: "You mentioned at least 3 of countries that will recieve new focus trees."
I dont have a link, but it is one of the posts on reddit in hoi4 community. It just popped in for me few weeks ago and i remembered it.

My idealized expansion path for the future of HOI4:

-Japan rework with Southeast Asian content. Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines get new trees while Malaysia and a new tag of French Indochina get the Iceland/Paraguay/Uruguay treatment. They can all share a military tree again.

-Middle East. Rework Turkey again because its tree is awful, then give content to Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. Make Egypt a low autonomy puppet with its own mini tree.

-Andean countries and Central America/Caribbean. Trees for Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, and Venezuela. Minor shared trees for Central America and the three independent Caribbean countries (the same trees with different flavour). Shared military tree. In fact, Bolivia and Peru could probably just share with the Trial of Allegiance countries for military.

-Finish off Europe. Trees for the European minors mentioned in this video, Czechoslovakia rework, Hungary and Romania touchup. Maybe a Germany touchup too but I honestly don't have a problem with Germany's existing tree.

-Commonwealth rework. Australia, India and New Zealand get total reworks. Canada and South Africa get touchups.

-Remove Swizerland's focus tree because it sucks and is boring-

We say how important those features are now, but we always forget that the game is 8 years old by now. We didn't *really* feel like the game was unplayable before the DLCs came out, and NOW we feel like "Why was it not in base game already" but in reality the game went a long way

The Middle East should get a DLC.
Saudi Arabia reclaims the Umyyiad Caliphate.
Iraq reclaims the Abbasid Caliphate or maybe Babylon.

Would be cool if Austria was able to reform the Austrian empire from before it was Austria-Hungary.

I would love to see those 4 nations mentioned in Europe get a focus tree.
+(finally Belgian focus yay)

Also Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines would be great to have a focus tree for.
But having Indochina as a puppet would be an amazing addition aswell. (in my opinion)

For a future DLC i believe the Middle East desperately needs a rework.

If Belgium gets an expansion, i hope Eugen and Spa will be added as a province, I love having those little details if i'm playing germany.

I always found it odd that Waking the Tiger, a DLC with heavy focus on East Asia, also added a new focus tree for Germany...
I really, really hope they won't add balance of power to Germany, I despise that mechanic with a passion. Instead, I hope they add a hidden focus tree for the HRE, and make it so that you can core the provinces piece by piece like you would when reforming the Byzantine Empire. Also, though I probably won't play it, it lacks a communist path. I mean, you can become communist with Ernst Thälmann as an adviser, but none of the focus paths really fit because all of them sooner or later lead to war with the Soviet Union.
A mechanic I would like to see is condominiums. Like, an integrated puppet that belongs to two counties at once. Initially, both countries would get equal amounts of stuff out of that territory (resources, civs), which can shift towards one of the countries based on how much that country built in that area, for example, eventually leading to the complete annexation of this territory.
Also, as much new designers confuse me at first, a motorized/mechanized designer would be nice, I guess.
And as a free update: The ability to queue research and national focuses, like you already can with MIOs.
