From owning and sharpening a lot of Medford’s and hinderers I can say that hinderers are the better overall product. Medford’s have way too many qc issues. My slim midi has been in twice now with lock failure in the last month for the price that should never ever happen. The firetac is awesome knife.

I will absolutely buy a few Hinderers if he ever releases lefty models. I'm glad companies are starting to realize that there's enough of us out there that a small or medium run will definitely sell out.

I agree 💯%, I don’t like when a knife can be easily shaken out! My XM18 spanto can also be shaken out too easily. So smooth, drop shutty, and solid as a rock, but I don’t like that a new born baby can shake that blade out.

The Hinderer deep dive begins? Try an Eklipse out, they are the better EDC Hinderer in my opinion. The 3 inch is a liner lock also so of course more lefty friendly.
