I know I'm extremely late but I actually just purchased one myself and checked this video out after I had already purchased it. Not sure if I just got lucky or if they've updated the design but when I plugged mine in I decided to test out the exact same games you did as well as test out the difference between the adaptor and my regular RCA Cables and honestly mine ended up looking so much better in HD and I actually don't have the random zoom in and left spacing issue show. Just thought I'd let somebody put there know. 😊

Recently got one of these but when I tried it out, the image keeps flickering, this happen to anyone else and is there any solution to this issue?

These kinda things are the absolute last resort if your TV doesn't have composite and you cant afford better, its just gonna give you composite quality through an HDMI socket, and if it also adds any lag at all to games (which I assume it does) then it's a total no no, however cheap it is.

they are not reliable, mine doesn't have any audio, tried multiple consoles on multiple TVs. Better to buy an svideo cable and a svideo to hdmi adapter, it looks so much better that way.
