We had so much fun with this project, and we’re so excited to have a website that represents us and what we do. It’s our landing spot for our free resources (like our budget template), blog posts, signing up for our newsletter, contacting us, and more (coming soon 👀).

I know I don't get on here to comment anymore like I used to, but with this new video, I have a question to ask you and I hope either Stephanie or Dennis answers: I know both of you are approximately 6.5 years younger than me, and I know that you have grown up with smart phones in your lives more than I have in mine (I actually can't stand them as much as most people like them) so, my question is this: in this day and age of smartphones, is it economically worth it to have an official website as opposed to an "app" (I still don't know what that word means)? The reason why I bring up your ages is because I grew up in a time where everyone who had a business, or even major corporations themselves, had websites. This was a time before companies and individuals had Facebook pages or Twitter pages or Instagrams. The smartphones were not as popular as they are today. However, when Facebook got more popular, I saw companies stop promoting their websites but instead would promote their Facebook page. Then, when Twitter got popular, companies would promote their Twitter page. Then, when Smartphones got popular, companies started creating "apps" for themselves. So, is there still a great market for the good ole website these days?

I think your website is great; I am old school and I love websites and I will probably be there a lot.

But speaking of "apps", I am actually surprised there isn't a Steph and Den app yet, to be honest. I thought that would be created by now. I am not gonna lie, Steph and Den, I think whoever decided to put things on smartphones was ingenious, because the phones are way easier to captivate a person's mind and it helps the owner of the "apps" make a lot more money because, I am guessing, people end up spending more time on those apps than they would on a website. My suggestion, if y'all ever do decide to make an app is make one where people can play a game of whether they met their budget for the day, week, month, year or not. That could be the Steph and Den game. Alright, I'm done; but please do let me know if websites are still worth it in 2024 like they used to be 15+ years ago.
