First time on your channel. What a great video. Really enjoyed your commentary on each deck and grouping. So many amazing and beautiful decks, I've added some of them to my wish list and I know I'll buy a couple. Hey I totally get it about trying to watch spending on decks and but then having those moments where you give in....I regret them but yet I don't LOL - Tarot and Oracle (and books) are my thing. I was tired of getting used/open decks from Amazon. I don’t mind paying more and waiting longer getting decks from the publisher. They are always sealed ❤

I understand not using Amazon BUT I also did a thing and went on a spree of buying decks I bought the Wild Unknown pocket Archetypes and 5 Seasons of the Witch! 🙄

I get it about the tarot of the cosmic seed. I waffled over it forever then bought not knowing the mass market was coming out the same year! That tone kind of hurt. But now I look at it like this I got one for at one the Indie and one for public the mass market!

I did a micro cut and sliced off all that gilding on my Tarot of Mystical Moments because of how sharp it was and will probably will always slice off that type of gilding.

I set myself a rule to only buy used. - But I've already managed to say yes to three decks...😅
Regarding the last set, Kipper is really not that easy but if you want to try it out then I can highly recommend Tony Savory, they have a very clear way of explaining the system 😊

I remember being attracted to the Egyptian deck but the lion on the strength card threw me off. Until I was doing an Egyptian unit study with my kids and discovered they did actually have lions!! Just not in modern day.

A lot of people will say they illustrated something even when AI is used. There is no mandate or law that forces people to be honest regarding their methods or production unfortunately. Reading about the “artist” it’s highly AI.
