This reminds me of my mother's Taiwanese rice bowl 'Rou Zao Fan' which is braised minced pork over rice. It contains lots of fried shallots. She would always make it for me. 😋

I was worried until I saw Miku with the blackberry at the end.

I cook Thai 4-5 times a week. (Khao Pad Gai, my favorite, Pad Krapow Gai, and either Gaeng Panang Gai or Gaeng Ped Gai. All Ped Mak Mak.

(you can see, I love chicken as protein, and my cat "Phaddington" is still sleeping quite contently in the corner.... He is not gone missing ;))
