Iee think a recession will be mild if anything. If the FED continues to lessen rate increases, inflation should just peter out. Not an overshoot like the Alan Greenspan days. It's a new FED confronting a different cause of inflation: supply shortages are driving prices higher worldwide, and we've simply got to slow down consumer demands for goods. That's what we the people can do, the rest is left for the supply side. Further investment in "suppy" and the gains in products that brings; probably accompanied by reductions in Federally supported consumer spending. And a return to the straight and narrow path of working for a living. Except if you can't, and any respectable person will tell you that.
