Raspberry Pi Pico Xbox EEPROM Dumper, Quick and Easy

preview_player
Показать описание
This video is a quick way to dump your original Xbox eeprom directly from the motherboard with just a Raspberry Pi Pico. The code is written by myself in micropython and posted on Github. All you need is a soldering station and 24-30 gauge wire ( or a scrap usb cable you can cut up). This video is handy if you're trying to revive an old Xbox or unlock its HDD. The dump only takes a few seconds, and requires only 3 wires to be soldered from the Pico to the Xbox.

Everything that you'll need:
-Github Posting

-Raspberry Pi Pico

-Solder Station Kit

-26 Gauge Wire

-Breadboard

Hi, just wanted to thank you. You saved my crystal XBOX with a failed HDD using this method, with a spare Pico I had laying around. Legend.

I do not recommend ever using red wire for anything other than a positive voltage supply.

hI im interested in modding an original xbox myself but I have a question. What are the benefits of EEPROM dumping and what is it used for? Also which mods do you recommend I should do. Thanks!

Will try later today. I unlocked my hdd on my debugger via hot swap and didn't know that I needed the password. Now, the Xbox boots into an error 5. I've never had an original Xbox before, so I don't know much.
