Wonderful video I'm actually writing a book and wanted to tackle the issue of socialism vs capitalism since it seems the socialist movement is growing and even I questioned myself whether I truly was a socialist in the past. I even took the political compass test and was surprised I landed at anarcho-socialism which I never heard of at that time but think this video will help

Animal farmers are subsidized by the government due to the extremely expensive process of feeding their animals. They actually pay out of pocket and it's only through subsidizing can they make a profit every year.

The problem isn't capitalism nor socialism in this case. It's the diet most humans choose to eat which is an animal-based diet. Animal agriculture is unsustainable by every ecological factor.

I wouldn't agree with socialism innately correlating to higher chances of abusive leadership manifesting. socialism can be exhibited from a range of social anarchy, no state governance, to totalitarian socialism, complete state governance.

I also wouldn't discredit the natural human tendency to creativity and innovation. innovation isn't contingent on the existence of competition, and so long as there are opportunities to improve quality of life for everyone respectively, obstacles that make us reflect on our current ways, humans will innovate.

How are the subsidies for the farming industry an attack against socialism? If the farmers decide what crop they want to produce, that is far more to left and closer to socialism rather than a "free market" idea from capitalism. The workers owning the means of production means democratizing the workplace and its production methods, etc.
