That's the tricky part. If you have an oil pressure gauge, it can show a drop in pressure around long, sweeping turns. Usually most drivers are looking at the track during these kinds of turns, so it's often hard to check. The worst indicator is that you return to the pits with a knocking rod bearing.

I cleaned out my chunks of piston and rod but didnt see any dirt should be good to go

It is always a good idea to install a dash warning light that lights-up brightly to alert the driver of a low oil pressure condition. Preset or adjustable low oil pressure switches are readily available and a bright 12V LED light could be found at a trailer supply store. If you are using Holley EFI or another device that can log data, oil pressure should always be data logged.
