If you create road design step by step in 12d, (create horiz/vert alignment, create and apply template, etc) the 12d will automatically create the cross section. and you have to do is just plot to AutoCad, and modify them in there.

EW Calculation, actually simply just compare the surfaces (tin in 12d).
first you must have topo data for the natural surface (before excavation)
and then you must have topo data for the second (after excavation)
after that you just subtract first to the second.
