Dawn had lead parts on 3 of their biggest hits: "Don't Let Go" "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" and "My Lovin'" (with Maxine). The only hit song with no lead is "Free Your Mind". It's just not En Vogue without those two. The only hit song that's not missing too much would be "Hold On".

Speak on it. You really had to be able to know how to sing. And, y'all were singing a cappella too. Y'all made sure to sing live and on the spot and for that I thank y'all. No vocal illusions. No singing one way on record and then when you hit the stage, it's not there. Somebody who came out the same year as y'all was/is notorious for that.
