My goal is to make short sales training videos and post them weekly - mainly on LinkedIn. My linked in videos will be the main course, and the YouTube vids will be the desert. Its crazy the amount of research I have to do just to try and change my primary email.

It looks like the settings differ from country to country or person to person as I do not have this on my LinkedIn.

Hi I need help!! I'm trying to add a new primary email. I no longer have access to the primary OR the 2nd email listed. my 2nd email also is old and no longer able to access those by old emails or phone numbers to send verifications to reset. I need to be able to add new email I'm currently using

I finally got this to work very easily ....on my phone. It would not work with my laptop at all on both Chrome and Edge browsers Windows 10. There was an email code verification and several password inputs to finally add a new email address and get rid of my old one no longer in use

How do you change your email address if both emails (primary and secondary) are with the same domain address that you no longer have access to?
The reason I ask is that the verification process sends a code to one of these two accounts and I do not have access to either.

I had created my LinkedIn account through my phone number and now when I try to add my email it's showing error that we are unable to handle your request, try again ....

Hi Louise, I’m wondering what do I do if when I created the account, I have used a yahoo email but now I just added the new one because someone recommended me to use gmail instead of yahoo. The primary button doesn’t show. I don’t know what to do, I don’t really want to create a new profile because it’s a lot of work. 😔

Hi Louise! I’m hoping you can help me- when I go into my contact info, the email addition option does not even come up. I’m having a bunch of errors with LinkedIn on every browser and I’m not sure what to do. When I go to settings and sign in/security to add an email address, it just gives me an error and that they are unable to handle my request. I log into my LinkedIn with a phone number not email but I’m trying to add an email. I even tried to put in a customer service ticket but it won’t let me submit that either so I’m struggling to even be able to find help. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to add an email. I’ve tried everything.

Hello, i was let go from my job and i want to keep my Linkedin Profile however it will not allow me to update my email. cuz it keeps wanting to send the 6 digit verification code to the old work email which i do not have access to.,
i get this message :

Email not reachable Mark email as correct
Add email address
If you have a verification (e.g. verified work email), you can manage it in your Verifications.

how do i remove or update the verification code so i can get it to update this info. ??
when you click verifications link it is not helpful.

Hi Louise - I came across your video while searching for email verification changes in Linked In. I just had 1 email address in my sign-in & security profile, this was my primary email address. Unfortunately, I have lost the email, i.e. it is closed. now When I am trying to add any new email address, it sends a six-digit code to that email address. My phone number is active. is there a way for me to get my 6-digit PIN on my phone number? Please let me know.

My primary email was entered incorrectly so when I try to change it, the system is sending a verification code to an email that doesn’t exist. I can’t add an email or change my email.
