The Petrifying Well North Yorkshire, England anything placed in this well takes on a stone like appearance . Blood Falls Antarctica iron oxide flows down the glacier from a distance it looks like a waterfall of blood . Although not unique, but still interesting, there's Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight just off the south coast of England it has multi - colored sandstone cliffs and the beach in the bay is also made of multi - colored sand, some of the sand is sold to tourists in various containers including hourglasses and snowstorms . I had an hourglass with this sand at one point Idk what happened to it .
