This one clip said more than any trailer that I've ever seen. I think I'm going to watch it now.

If you've never seen Wicked (The Broadway production) you don't understand how much you're missing.

The costumes in Wicked by Paul Tazewell are so amazing!

The Daily Show can be so funny while dealing with some very serious issues. The fact that it has been around this long as a comedy show and still manages to be touching is a credit to everyone involved.

"The Wizard of Oz" is in no way a fairytale. It is a brilliant satire on politics and religion and how we are conned every day by them. It also has drug references and is such a great classic film that should be studied.

Him saying Galinda has me smiling from ear to ear. ❤

I was wondering why he was calling her "Galinda". It turns out it's because that's her name! (She later becomes Glinda.)

Has anyone read the book? It was one of the most depressing books I've ever read. It's hard for me to imagine it being so popular.

This guy needs to go back to the book and the film. Sir, there is NO character in either one named Elphaba. That is a character made up by Gregory Maguire for his 1995 book "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West." Neither "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, " written by L. Frank Baum in 1900, nor the film "The Wizard of Oz, " directed by Victor Fleming in 1939, contain a character named Elphaba. I have no problem with the character, but do not say she is in the original book or the film adaptation! Doing so insults Gregory Maguire's creative ability by inferring he didn't create the character, as well as insults L. Frank Baum and the screenwriter of the film adaptation by inferring you never cared enough to either read the book, or remember the film properly (I'll throw you a bone and assume you have seen the film, though I secretly wonder if you have.)

He's literally gonna ruin one of the best musicals ever

How about, just leave it alone and let kids and adults just enjoy the story, rather than interjecting your own view of "why things could be the way they are". For people who don't like people who have an agenda, re-doing something like this with your own view, is an agenda. Durrrr...

I read the book and saw it in broadway and it was amazing. But I’m really not excited about the movie, especially since Ariana Grande is in it. 🙄 she’s so overrated. They couldn’t find anyone else to fit the part of Glinda?
