When riot gives like every champ 2 dashes, your ‘superior range’ on ADC doesn’t matter that much if you’re low HP

Being fed in the way you have kraken slayer at level 7 also helps as shown in this clip

Unless the Talon just presses a button to get into melee range for free.

Then you can survive just long enough for the assassin to oneshot you out of no where

but, the problem is that you have to dodge their gap closers that slows / stuns you and that's it. Using galio here won't prove my point but how about yone, viego, maokai, qiyana, etc. But i agree though, if you're confident in movement and in tracking abilities and summ's cd, then why not.

Until the Galio decides to keep walking forward and you either get killed by the auto or the pool

It usually only works against tanks and adcs with significantly less range, maybe some bruisers too but they usually have either ability to limit your movememt or dash with 2s cd. Against assissins, it can work if you have both summoner spells up and extra peel support that is going to stop all of their 3+ gap closers

If galio threw his skill shot slightly down you get trapped and die because you’ll either walk into the q or take a passive boosted auto. He just missed

The combination of sometimes the get oneshot anyway without counterplay twist and sometimes not makes your watchtime go throught the roof

I got a clutch triple kill once and almost got out but the next minion wave came in, I aggroed the first caster minion and the lone projectile was enough to kill me

Now a days the range also doesn't matter cuz every champ has a gap closer.
