Why Moon Knight's Theme is a Musical Masterpiece

We often forget how much effort and meaning musicians put into their work. Hours upon hours worth of passion and ideas — all condensed into a track that only lasts a few minutes at most. Here, I'll briefly try to appreciate some of that genius by examining Hesham Nazih's theme for Moon Knight.

Aight, picture this. It’s 2028. Marvel’s Midnight Suns movie just released. You got an early ticket. Then, 30 minutes into the movie, out of nowhere, the entire theatre goes pitch black, just the screen. Then, this music blasts at full volume. And the rest is history.

In spite of being a TV series with comparably low budget, Moon Knight undoubtedly became one of the most significant projects in the whole MCU.

The best part of these videos that separates you from others is how you don't give vocal commentary. You let the music play without interrupting it or pulling away from it by talking. You manage to depict layers of emotion and everything through text while keeping it short enough to get an amazing idea of what you mean even though you have limited time for each chunk of text

I find it quite nice that it's basically the same chorus over and over but everytime you hear it in the series it always sounds unique like it was changed to fit every specific scene it's in

The variations of the main theme in each track is so good! Constellation is obviously great, but I really, really love the variation that plays when he first becomes The Fist Of Vengeance, gives me chills every time. Unfortunately, that entire piece when they are revisiting his first time meeting Khonshu isn't present 😕. The theme when Marc sees The Duat for what it is is also godly, precisely at the 53 second mark in Welcome Travelers. MK's theme is one of the best I have heard, and I can't wait to hear it on the big screen!
