Easy Chèvre with goat milk

Easy peasy!

Cheese making is so simple, and until I tried it, I never thought it'd be something I'd dabble with.

1) heat 1 quart full fat fresh goat milk to 180°F
2) take off heat
3) add 1/3 cup lemon juice
4) add 2 tbsp white vinegar
5) let curdle for 1 hour
6) strain through cheese cloth and let drain for 30 min
7) form log and refrigerate

After curdling and before draining, you can add any seasoning you want.

The drained off whey makes a great addition to shakes or for baking. Also, great supplement feed for livestock
